Solid shoes, they're fairly comfortable and like a skate/Converse-type shoe but with much more sturdy materials. They're wide if you're comparing them to Converse I guess. No different than Vans or any casual shoe to me, I'm a 10.5 EE and they're still snug in the forefoot. We'll see how they break in.
